Active ingredient :

Each soft gelatin capsule contains:

Flax seed oil (Alpha-linolenic acid) 350mg.

Turmeric (Curcuma domestica) extract 100mg.

Artichoke leaves 275mg.

 

Pharmacological Actions:

Alpha-linolenic acid (a substance found in flaxseed and flaxseed oil) may benefit people with heart disease & lower cholesterol levels. Recent studies are looking at its potential role in preventing or treating atherosclerosis.

 

Turmeric (curcumin ) may increase detoxification systems and induces the formation of a primary liver detoxification enzyme, glutathione S-transferase (GST) enzymes.

Also it lowers blood cholesterol through creation of more receptors for LDL (bad) cholesterol. With more LDL-receptors, liver cells are able to clear more LDL-cholesterol from the body.

 

Artichoke leaves contain a compound called cynarin; preliminary research work shows that this has the ability to increase the production of bile in the liver, As a result, there is a more rapid excretion of cholesterol from the body, preventing it from being deposited on the arterial walls and blood cholesterol levels also drop.
